The Gauchers Association appoints new Chief Executive

Following the announcement that Tanya Collin-Histed has stepped down from her role with the Gauchers Association to take up a full time role with the EGA, the Association is delighted to confirm the appointment of Jane Jones as our new Chief Executive. Jane has spent many years working in the charity sector and has significant experience as an advocate and fundraiser for those affected by severe medical conditions.

Dan Brown, the Association Chairman, said, “Following an extensive recruitment and interview process, we are so pleased that Jane has agreed to join the Association as our new Chief Executive. We believe that she will be a fantastic addition to the team. We wish her a warm welcome on behalf of the Board and all of our members and we are really looking forward to working with her.”

Jane said, “It is with great pleasure that I join the Gauchers Association as Chief Executive. I look forward to meeting and working with the patients, families and professionals within the Gaucher Community.

I would like to extend a personal thank you to Tanya. Her dedication and commitment to Gaucher patients, which has ensured that they and their families receive the best practical, emotional and medical support, has put the Association in a fantastic place for the team and I to take forward."
